Agritourism and Bed & Breakfast Podere Vicoferaldi Nestling in the Tuscan hills at a height of 450 metres in an unspoiled valley of the Mugello region halfway up Monte Giove (Mount Jove), is the farmhouse of Elizabeth and Luigi Bianchi. The farmhouse has been converted with central heating throughout and has three double letting rooms all en suite maintaining their original characteristics, and a double bedroom with large bathroom for the disabled on the ground floor. The barn has been converted into two maisonettes sleeping 2 to 6 people with individual central heating.
The swimming pool is the ideal place for relax yourself and enjoying a wonderfull landscape.

The surrounding countryside is teeming with wildlife and the views are stunning where one can go trekking or cycling by mountain bike, fishing in the lakes or horse riding through the woods. At the top of Monte Giovi is a restaurant at “Tamburino”serving lunches and dinner, and near the farm is a pizzeria which is open on Saturdays and Sundays with dancing facilities in the summer. At the bottom of the road that leads to the farm is another pizzeria alongside a fishing lake which is open each evening .

A few kilometres away is the village of La Rufina home of the famous wine which takes its name from this area with small restaurants and shops.
There is a station at La Rufina so you can leave your car – parking is free – with frequent trains to and from the city of Florence that take less than half an hour.
